Admire Kamudzengerere

The biennial is thrilled to welcome Admire Kamudzengerere. Kamudzengerere's art delves into themes of memory, belonging, and the human condition, often using symbolic imagery and powerful metaphors. His practice spans drawing, painting, sculpture, and performance, often incorporating found objects and unconventional materials. His work offers powerful reflections on contemporary life, particularly within the context of Zimbabwe. During his two-month stay, he will create a new body of work, which will be presented in a dedicated exhibition at the close of his residency.
